School Bouldering Programs and
Competitions
Our school bouldering programs are designed to
introduce students to the exciting world of
bouldering in a safe and supportive environment.
These programs aim to develop physical fitness,
mental strength, risk management and problem-
solving skills among students.
Community Building Programs
and Projects
Our community building programs and projects aim
to foster connections, promote wellness, and
contribute positively to our local and global
communities. We strive to make bouldering
accessible to everyone, regardless of their
background, abilities, or experience.
Forest Restoration
and Rehabilitation
Our commitment to the environment extends
beyond our climbing walls. Our Forest Restoration
and Rehabilitation initiatives aim to protect and
rejuvenate forest ecosystems, ensuring they thrive
for generations to come.
Education and
Training Programs
We are committed to providing comprehensive
education and training programs for climbers of all
skill levels. Our goal is to foster a deep understanding
of climbing techniques, safety protocols, and the
physical and mental benefits of the sport.
Collaborations and
Partnerships
At Yago Bouldering, we believe in the transformative power of climbing. That’s why we’ve partnered
with two incredible organizations to make a positive impact:
1. Pamoja: A local NGO committed to community development. Together, we’re fostering inclusivity and
providing climbing opportunities for all.
2. Climb for Human Rights: Based in Barcelona, this association uses climbing as a tool for social change,
education, and human development. Our collaboration aims to empower individuals and create a more
equitable world.
Join us on this exciting journey as we climb toward a
better future!

Support Yago Bouldering
and Empower Young
Climbers
Dear Generous Supporters,
We're group of climbing volunteers from Yago Bouldering
CBO. We currently work with 2 secondary schools and 3
primary schools, each with 20 members in their climbing
club. A number of other local schools would like to join,
but we are at full capacity.
We have 5 instructors, all working on an entirely voluntary
basis, and often providing drinks and snacks for the kids
out of their own pockets.
If we had the resources to pay the instructors for their time
we would be able to run more sessions, as they would be
able to take time away from their day jobs and still provide
for their families.
Here there’s a list of the items and aproximate cost
of the things we need.
Will you help us make this possible?

2000 KES / 15 Euros provides drinks and some snacks for a

25,000 KES / £150 buys a new bouldering crashmat

Harnesses
Slings
Ropes
Video Camera/Cam for video taking/photography
Safety helmets (available here in Kenya)
Logistical means of movement to climbing sites

You can make your donations through Paypal
Equipment Hire
If you’re a boulderer travelling without your equipment then we
have a selection of shoes (including some high-performance
ones), crashmats and chalk bags available for you to borrow in
exchange for a donation.
Or why not bring your own pads and leave them with us!
Crash mats are awkward bulky things to travel with, so why
not just carry them one way
Thank you once again for your great work and support.
Best regards,
Vincent, Yago Bouldering CBO Director
